Got on the lake about 2 pm and first fished a windy point in about 12'-15' with a perch colored crank bait. Picked up 3 smallies between 1.5 and 4 lbs in about 1 1/2 hours. Got tired of fighting the wind as well as the wakes of all of those wonderful boaters who are considerate enough to blow by me wide open within 50' or so even though they've got the entire lake to use. I will never understand that. Anyway, decided to pitch docks and that's when the action really started. I caught another 15+ smallies between 4pm and 8pm pitching 3 1/2" tubes on 1/8 oz. sliders. Color didn't really seem to matter. Top 5 fish probably pushed 18-20lbs. Every other dock seemed to have at least 1 fish on it. Bigger fish seemed to come off of shallower (4-6 ft. deep) docks. Most takes were on the drop, but I had several smaller fish chase the tube to the boat and take it right before I pulled it out of the water. My best day ever on this lake. Sorry no pictures, but I left the cell phone (with camera) in the truck.
