It was a nice day after work, a couple of friends and I were debating on where to fish. We drove around to 3 different lakes and ended up at Blackman's Lake. It was about 75 degrees out and set up my IMX with a kastmaster. Tossed it out twice and nothing, then on the third cast I had the hit. Didn't seem like it was a big catch, but once I got it closer to shore it started fighting really hard. Finally, saw it when it got real close and noticed that it was a monster. Pulled it out out of the water and that was it weighed at 4 lbs. 6 oz. and 24 in. Great day for me, the biggest trout I ever caught.

Nice fish kchao. The local fishing club held the annual kids fishing derby in the morning and had the lake stocked with some monster trout. My 6 yr old son pulled out a 3.5 lb fish and won 2nd prize. There are probably more like the one you caught left in there.
