We got to Lake Curlew at around 3:30 on Saturday and setup our overnight camp site. Got to the lake to fish at about 4:30 right on the dock. My dad and cousin were using straight Powerbait (Rainbow worked best), and I was fishing up against the shore for some Largemouth Bass. My dad, cousin, and two other people on the dock were getting bites like crazy, and my dad reeled in about a 18" Rainbow Trout. I had pretty good success on the smaller largemouth with a Blakemore Roadrunner, white with a red dot, and a pure silver spoon.

This morning I slapped on a small jig and caught about 15 smaller Largemouths, 3 of which came home with me to smoke on the grill. Their sizes were about 8"-12". All in all, a very fun experience. Will go back again, better prepared for some big Bass and maybe even Tiger Musky fishing.
