Well, I'm due for a report. With my 10/1 ratio of fishing to actually writing a report I figured this should be the one.
To bad I don't have much to report. Headed out with some friends in our kayaks and got to the lake at around 3pm. I tried for bass using just about everything I had. It was cloudy and very windy. No one else on the lake was experiencing much action either. Some shore fisherman had 3 trout w/ the biggest being 12". All caught on powerbait/crawler combo. I metered a bunch of fish between 17-22 ft but they all had lockjaw. I even jigged for trout for 2 sec. just to tie one on. But nothing. We pulled off at 7:30pm.
Well sorry to let anyone down. This lake has great potential and I will be back. Today was just a really crappy day to be out but I still can't turn down the opportunity to be on the water.
