Hello there Bass guys and fellow fishermen.. Well i went to Beaver lake for the first time Saturday morning and fish till 2pm... This lake rocks , I caught over 30+bass..fishing from my pontoon boat i launched from the Park . I got into this solid 2.5lb first cast on a spinner bait right nxt to the boat launch . From that point on i started getting a bass at least every other cast , there is a lot of half pound up to pound and half here .. AND THEN THE RAIN STARTED..I put on my rain gear and weathered the storm , i didn't mind the rain i was more worried about the wind . The entire day the wind stayed calm .. I started fishing Docks , i Got this 5pounder under one old dock and a nice 3lb. from another , caught all my dock fish on a 6inch plastic worm in a very cool color that's been doing well for me this year. I would fish the structure and grass with a 3 1/2 inch plastic craw rigged texas style. I got three fish to KILL MY FROG in the pads .. and i was very patient too ensure i didn't set my hook too fast (landed all of them) the biggest was about 3.5 lb with a fat belly (love those strikes) .. this lake is one that a person can catch fish any way you want .. I had four poles rigged up and got got action on all of them .. I really enjoy myself yesterday , i haven't caught so many bass like that in awhile .. i rated the lake a 3 , and i would give it a higher rating but when i came back to my truck parked in the park i saw that someone had broke one of my windows out it appeared that the where about to take something out of truck but strangely enough there wasn't anything missing . (THAT SUCKED) I had a great day until i discovered that , I'm still pissed .. I posted my 5 pounder and my first fish ..Happy Hooking ..Bigbass Dez Strikes again
