A buddy and I went to Beaver Lake and put poles in around 7:30 AM, right down from the gazebo. Casting just to the left of the lily pads to the right, I had a colorful rainbow planter with in 5 min. Followed by two more the same size, 10' - 12', in the next hour. My buddy was not having any luck with the left lily pads, so we switched. I decided to get out towards the middle with green power eggs. I was rewarded with a very nice 15", while by buddy was catching just by the lily pads. Even with the light rain it was a great day to be fishing. All in all, a great day, caught my limit and had to go.
