Hit the lake at 7:30 am. Very windy, rains showers on and off. Water was a little murky. water temp? forgot to check:( air temp? 58. Fishing by myself, Dave Newbie style:) I caught my first NW Largemouth in the stumps, about 1lb, looked like a softball. At 9:45 I hooked and landed this fish. Unbelievable! Luckily I had my phone for a pic, unluckily I have no scale....what do y'all think? Gimme some estimates on the weight. Not that it helps, but I am 6'2" and 278 lbs. I know, I need to lose a few, but if this is the way to gain weight in the boat! All fish caught and released. (5 total) I was using 4.5" punkin seed power worm and caught the big one on a 2 blade yellow spinnerbait.Thanks to all you guys and gals and this site for getting me up to Silver Lake.
