6/11/2007 1:58:00 PMLooks like a 6-7 lb fish to me. That is an awesome fish. These are your first NW bass, have you caught many in other states? You should be able to kinda make an estimation yourself, I say that thing is close if not over 7lb for sure.

I was raised bass fishing in GA but have only fly fished in the nw until now. I lucked out when I was 10 years old and caught a 10lb 5 oz lunker in central Ga. i have also caught bass within sight of our nations capitol and in Va, Tennesse, Alabama, Florida, both Carolinas, and La, but I have not done any bass fishing since 1992. a lot has changed, especially with lures, but luckily my old spinnerbaits still work.

yep, long arming, but it does make for a better shot! i recently took photos of some 18" cutthroat trout, but they looked puny in the photos, so there is my excuse:)

That same fish just might reach close to 10 lb range during it's lifespan .. and in a few years from now if someone post a pic a 10 lb lunker from this lake just know it's because a great sportsman C&R that fish .....Happy Hooking ..

Catch and release is the only way for bass! How big might they get? It will be fun to try and find out.
