6/11/2007 3:44:00 PMBy the looks of your "long arming" the fish...it's about 12 lbs. I truely say that it's about 6 lbs +- 4 ounces.

ChrisB,
I was raised bass fishing in GA but have only fly fished in the nw until now. I lucked out when I was 10 years old and caught a 10lb 5 oz lunker in central Ga. i have also caught bass within sight of our nations capitol and in Va, Tennesse, Alabama, Florida, both Carolinas, and La, but I have not done any bass fishing since 1992. a lot has changed, especially with lures, but luckily my old spinnerbaits still work.
Ching1278,
yep, long arming, but it does make for a better shot! i recently took photos of some 18" cutthroat trout, but they looked puny in the photos, so there is my excuse:)

Dave,
Thanks for the heads up on the resort! I will do that next time I am up and catch this fish's Daddy.
Catch and release is the only way for bass! How big might they get? It will be fun to try and find out.
