Tried Lost Lake which is off the Echo Lake Road for the first time yesterday. Previous reports I'd read had me hesitant
to go as one complaint was that it is noisy, being ringed by houses and home construction, whict turned out to be accurate.
Fishing was steady on 10-11 inch rainbows using pop gear without any weight and baited with Power Bait salmon eggs and
Power Bait earth worms.
I easily limited trolling from my pontoon boat in about an hour and a half. I was using a short pretied leader and had several
strikes but no hookup in the first 45 minutes, so tied a longer (20 inch) leader and started getting hookups immediately,
quicky limiting.
Lost is down in a pocket so may be fishable on windy days that lakes like Tye are too wind whipped.
There is a WDF&G acess. Be sure to display your parking permit.
