Went Kokanee fishing on Saturday, Caught 10 fish between two people. trolling 1 mph or so, 4 oz at 60 pulls. using ford fenders with a little silver dick nite type spoon with red on one end white corn with that white kokanee scent ( i cant recall the name of it, we just call it kokanee snot.

I caught the first fish before my father was even in the water. I gave him a bad time about that. The next 9 fish were caught on his pole. I changed my set up about 3 times. Even started using the down rigger and even after changing my set up to be the same as his I still couldn't catch another fish. I don't believe in Karma but sometimes I wonder.

If you read the article in the fishing and hunting news about the kokanee in merwin, keep in mind that that is all a bunch of B.S. The fish are around 12 inches at best at this time. 8 fish were 12 inches with the other 2 about 10 inches
