I have friends with a cabin on the SE end of the lake so I've fished this lake many, many times; mostly in the summer. During this time the lake does get a lot of recreational traffic so it's better to get on the water very early in the morning. The shoreline is very fishy and there are some bass to be had there, but it's not always the best chance for bigger fish. The deep weed edge usually between 10-15ft is where you're more likely to catch a trophy. Carolina Rigs, slow rolled Spinnerbaits and other deep water techniques worked along these edges will generally produce.
