Ended up going to Pine Lake again this afternoon/evening.... It was a great day until a few teenagers on the fishing pier started throwing fireworks into the water (louder than @#$%). After that, the fish were pretty much spooked and were 10x as hard to get. I caught a fair share of sunfish and baby bass again on nightcrawlers while along the shore & docks, but threw them all back. I did manage to bring in a nice keeper trout on a chartruese power egg out towards the center @ ~20ft. I would have continued going for the trout but I caught it a few minutes before the first firecracker went off.
If you are interested in fishing from the pier I would strongly discourage it now that the teens have taken over out there. A few nights ago I ended up picking up all their trash from the pier when I left the boat at home.
