I was going to go to the driving range until my wife informed me she had plans, so me and my 4 sons, that's right four boys 8, 6, 4, and 3 went to Wilderness. Got the boat in the water at about 7:30. My oldest had the first fish within 20 min. He was using a gold and silver dick nites with a chunk of worm. My 6 yr old got the next fish using a green and yellow hot shot. As soon as we got the fish off the hook and put his line in the water, it was fish on again! That was 3 in the first 45 min! I thought it was opening day out there. I was using a rapala hoping to maybe entice a LMB. With no luck bass fishing I went with a perch colored hot shot and nailed our 4th fish in a total of 1hr and a half. Nice evening on the lake, this lake is cooler at night since it is surrounded by trees and further east.
