Fished from 5:30am - around 11:00am with my neighbor. It was the first trip in a while where he has caught fish, so that was a plus. His first two were some of the smallest fish I've seen out of Tapps (check out the photo) but they got larger after that. We caught quite a few fish between us, most were in the 12-13" range. Used senkos, curly tail grubs on jig heads, and drop shot. All seemed to work well. Water temp is in the low to mid 70s depending where you are in the lake. I caught one 12" smallie that had another hook in his gullet, I carefully removed both hooks and he swam off fine. The pleasure boat traffic was quite low, probably partially because the Allan Yorke launch is open and collecting fees now.
