Weather (clear sky's, no wind to speak of, and crazy hot 90's)
Traffic on the water (multiple jet skis, fishing boats, and water skiers) most I have ever seen on this small lake. (I don't get mad at these people like other fisherman, It's there water as much as mine)
Started fishing about 5:00pm and left about 8:30pm.
I forgot my licence so I decided to make it, kids catch all the fish day.
My three year old Ashton caught 2 keepers, my five year old Carson caught 2 keepers, my nine year old Myles caught 1 small koke and my wife also caught one small koke. Now I don't mean to brag but four of the fish were caught on my pole and all in a row.
I made sure to get a very bad sun burn to take home with me. (can't leave empty handed)
The setup is the same I always use on this lake for kokanee 1 1/2 to 2oz banana weight, 4/0 dodger with a wedding ring and the kokanee secret weapon good old white corn. (green giant works the best in my opinion)
One last touch a squirt of green baitmate fish attractant on every time. I have found that without a down rigger this setup will always yield a good number of fish every time.
My boys and wife ate every fish we kept (4) before I got home from work the next day.
Great lake to fish any day and any time of the year.
