Buddy and I took the kids to Munn Lake. Started fishing for trout but no bites. Switched to good old worm and bobber approx. 4feet down and got a lot of small hits to the left and right side of fishing area. The bites bust have been small bass or perch but nothing landed but the kids had fun. The down fall to the trip (and the last trip here) was a group of people swimming off the boat launch. The people that have been swimming have been respectable to the fishing folks but none the less the water activity was probably too much for the fish. We didn't have any luck but will be back again and as much as I hate to say it...hopefully with out the eye-candy.

Does anyone out there know if there is an access point to Lake Susan? Susan is connected to Munn by a small channel to the back-right corner off of the boat launch, but I haven't been able to find a "public" access point.

There is no public access to Susan Lake. You have to be a member of the community to fish.

I haven't fished Susan for many years but when I did I had no problem going through the canal from Munn. And, I caught a one eyed largemouth in Susan at 3 1/2 pounds that was chasing a school of fry.
