My 5 yr old son and I launched our Portabote around 8 am and we fished until 3 pm. I caught 3 medium bass with a silver weedless spoon. The largest one was around 14 inches with little girth. I caught the first one at the boat launch lilly pads. The second in the middle of the pond and the third at the end. My son caught a blue gill on a worm. It rained all day soaking us to the bone but it still beat not fishing. We saw two other boats and a few shore fishers though out the day. This is a great big pond with lots of fish. It has at least 10 or 15 feet of lilly pads on all sides but by the road. It has very thick mill foil? weeds over most of the pond except the deepest part which drains to a creek then Riffe lake.
