Went to Fivemile lake for the first time. I fished just to the left of the dock, because there were a lot of swimmers around the dock area. after about 10 minutes I had a bite, set the hook, but not good enough, lost it on the way in. An hour went by without another strike. during that hour there was a lot more swimmers and I was changing power bait colors, so that might have contributed to the lack of action. once the swimmers called it a day I went back to the color I began with and with in 15 minutes had a strike and brought in a 10" rainbow, threw on some more bait and within 5 minutes hooked up with another one, an 8" one. aside from the swimmers the day was good. will be back with my float tube. if anyone else knows any secrets to this lake it would be great to learn them
