I like to hit Conconully Reservoir in the fall each year. Water was down, but not abnormal. Fishing was just fantastic. First two fish I caught were over 2lbs. I caught about 90% on wooly worms and wooly buggers, just using a slow sink. Most people were using spinners and worms and were doing really well. And the bank fisherman with power bait were doing well from the north bank just down from Liar's Cove Resort. All the fish I caught were in the 15 inch to 16 in range and very "fat". Got a couple Kokanee at 19 inches, and found a few pockets of them very early in the am by the mouth of the stream coming out of the Lake. I released 90+ fish in one week. These are the best fish I have seen in years from this body of water.
