8/24/2007 12:25:00 PMYes, you can catch Browns on jigs, but you need to get the jigs to the fish. The Browns are pretty deep right now during the day.
I often use small minnow or crayfish imitating jigs for the Browns. It will also catch some of the larger Rainbows as well.
As for the rocks, they are bad in that lake, especially for jigging. Try down sizing the weight, swimming the jigs more, just bumping the tops of the rocks. You will still loose a lot of jigs, but you will loose a lot less.
