Went out fishing the other day with my wife and blam her first cast nice sized large mouth hits 3 cast later kaboom another and another she was out fishing me (like always) about 3 hours later I decided to start jigging which is kinda a pain on this lake due to the rather large and sharp rocks that are below I must have went through 15 jigs that are now stuck on the bottom but I ended up hooking several nice large mouths. I am still relatively new to this jigging thing any one have any luck jigging for browns?

Yes, you can catch Browns on jigs, but you need to get the jigs to the fish. The Browns are pretty deep right now during the day.

I often use small minnow or crayfish imitating jigs for the Browns. It will also catch some of the larger Rainbows as well.

As for the rocks, they are bad in that lake, especially for jigging. Try down sizing the weight, swimming the jigs more, just bumping the tops of the rocks. You will still loose a lot of jigs, but you will loose a lot less.
