Once again my wife and I along with my parents and our daughter and son-in-law made the trek from the Olympia, WA area to spend a long forth of July holiday at Liars Cove Resort in the town of Conconully, WA. This has been my wife's and my favorite spot for many years. The last few years my parents and our kids have been joining us.
As always Arnie and Nita have made our stay wonderful. Always keeping us informed on any new hoptspots for fishing and new tricks for catching the big one's.
This year thie fishing was great! We all caught lots of nice 15" 16" rainbows. Of course my wife had to out do me and land a nice 3 lb. 6 oz rainbow. It gave her a pretty good fight. Haydon ...Arnie and Nita's grandson helped her get it in the net. He's quite the fisherman himself. In our off fishing hours we enjoyed great water skiing and tubing. Hayden must have cleared 10 ' in the tube on one of his runs. Should have seen the look on his face... it was great.
As always the guests at Liar's Cove were a pleasure to meet. Nice seeing others that we have met from past trips here.
We are already looking forward to returning in May to start a new season.
I'll catch the big one next time! (I might have to leave the wife home....ha ...ha.)
