Took a canoe out to to Lake Terrell. Windy day, so getting to the far west side of the lake was easy - getting back not so fun since I was paddling. A small crappie jig hooked me up with several perch and pumpkinseed. On the far shoreline I tried a large 3/4 oz jig with greenish skirting. I landed this nice 17" bass - looked to me like he's been feeding, stocking up for the winter. Anyone have any guesses on what a fish like this would weigh? All in all I was only out for 3 hours maybe. Good day.
