Fishing solo, I launched my small boat onto Jackson Lake. Fishing was tough. The biggest bass I caught was a skinny little 16 incher that looked as if he had been on a Jenny Craig diet. Probably guarded a nest and hadn't gained his weight back. Anyway, I had a camera but no photographer. I did the best I could, shot him myself, thanked him for the memories, told him to go off the diet and released him. Nice late summer day on the lake.
