Hey there Guys , Well went back to Lake Samm this past Sunday , kind of a tuff day on the lake . Lots of boaters, jet ski , and Splashing going on . I launched from the state park site and fished the shoreline up too the main point . I got the smally on a rattletrap (that a later loss) and got the LMB skipping under Dock 3LB .. I was very surprise to see this fish , this is the first LMB that i have taken on Lake Samm .. In all the day was hot , fish were deep and bites came slow . I also caught some of the biggest perch iv ever laid hands on before...This lake is going to be one that i hit more often . I like the fact that once you find the smallys you can get a few out of the same hole .. This first smally came off a log in about 20ft of water on a rattletrap , after i released him i followed back to the same spot with a worm and got another one , picked up a jerk bait and got a hit but no takers .. fun day for sure and ILL BE BACK .. MY YOUR NEXT BASS BE YOUR BEST BASS ..BBD

Nice catch! Especially from a pontoon boat on a big lake. I have fished many big lakes from a canoe with some success. You just have to pick a part of the lake and fish it like a small lake -- slowly and thoroughly.

Right on, BBD! I'm paying my dues from the shore myself. Nice looking fish, BTW.

I think we all would like to ride in Dez' new bass boat. I doubt he'll ever have to buy his own gas that first year.
