8/31/2007 12:54:00 PMhey me and my friend are begginer bass fishermen and have been using the drop shot technique. we have been using gary yamamoto 4'' white worms with black flakes. we have been fishing around docks and other areas around lake washington and have been having no luck with everything we try. all we catch are little dinks. we are desparate to catch some big bass. any tips or suggestions for us?

8/31/2007 1:02:00 PMI would recommend using more natural colors like watermelon or green pumpkin with black flakes. Get some GY kut tail worms. Make sure to work the outside weedline in the 20+ feet range. The best advice I can give is patience and time on the water!! Good luck and tight lines!!!

8/31/2007 1:05:00 PMThanks for the advice. We'll try that. Ive been told that the docks on the southern tip of mercer are really good docks for bass. do you know if that is true?

8/31/2007 10:49:00 PMThe docks on the southern tip are just fine. I caught some bass off them yesterday, nothing bigger than 2 lbs.
