Arrived early afternoon and to an area close to launch that I've tracked a lot of fish but never really focused on and caught a decent trout slow-trolling with a red wedding ring. After several passes through this area I decided to try eggs off the bottom with no results. I switched to worms and to my surprise caught a little bullhead! Didn't know there are any here until now. Switched back to trolling (with my trusty pontoon boat) and a flor red flatfish and caught two of the smallest bass. They were only about 3 times larger than my #4 ff !!! Must have been real hungry to try to eat something almost as big as themselves! After that I decided to troll to my favorite area and as I was arriving caught another trout. Both so far a little over 12". I anchored up and tried bottom again and wam! hooked up this summers first triploid! 14 1/2" and fat! Caught 1 more 12" off bottom within 15 minutes then it got slow. I landed 2 more but compared to the others were too small and let them go.
