9/6/2007 11:10:00 PMAs the water cools some, the bait fish will move back up shallower. The fry that hid in the weed beds all summer are now a little bit bigger and can be considered fingerlings. Meals for bass and musky and sometimes easy prey as the weeds start to die off. I like the late summer and early fall. The muskies are as big as they're going to get for the season and can be aggresive at times. Follow the main lake points back into the bays untill you make contact then repeat it at similar locations.
