Hit up Lake Union for an hour last night and got a couple little Largemouth. I started dropshotting with a small blue/black minnow, and my buddy was using a jointed shap rap. I got a nice little perch on the dropshot, and Case switched to a jig and stuck a small largemouth. I switched to a jig and got a little bit bigger one. Fun little hour of fishing.

Never fished Union, where do you fish? I heard there's docks around there but can you fish by Gas Works park? Also if you do fish off the docks which one and what would be the best way to go coming from the North?

Cool! I think I recognize the spot in the left most pic. I caught a perch while targetting smallies. Good to know they can still be had. Might have to make a trip to the good ol' Union. Thanks for the report.

yes you can fish at Gasworks. That spot is a lil public launch on the east side of the lake - i used to fish that place all the time when I lived there! I never got anything bigger than in that first pic but I have seen some better fish ignore me.

nice job guys
