been to capital lake every weekend since late august usually get there at sun rise seems like the bites on about 45min. after sunrise but I have caught fish at all different times of day and all weather conditions.I mostly float salmon eggs under a slip bobber anywhere from 3 feet to 7.5 feet but mostly around 6 feet. l have caught many fish the biggest was 35 pounds 38 inches nice old hen full of eggs . l have also lost some big ones. the last one I caught was 33 inches. they sometimes will take a spinner or kwik fish .I fish from a boat south of the overpass. my brother Big Ed spanks it out here he catches way more than me.
