End of summer is great over here - less people camped at The Cove, lots of dock space, easy moorage. Not too windy, limited in about 2 hours (with four of us fishing). Used High Lakes spinners (bought from Scott and Nadine at the little store), as well as wedding-ring type our son makes. Little piece of worm, fairly slow trolling speed. Great action, nothing big, let 'em all go (crimped barbs, no harm done).

WAY too windy on Saturday, so fooled around camp that day. Sunday AM was nice and were able to troll till about noon, when the wind came up. We turned off the kicker motor at the west end of the lake, set out two lines, and let the wind run us about half way down the lake. The wind gives just about the right speed, and when it's not raining, just windy, it's a pretty relaxing way to troll!

Lots of fun - had our son's friend along who had never caught fish before - he, and we, had a great time! See you next April!
