Fished from 1-5 p.m. along the shore on the boat launch side of the lake using a completely filled clear bobber, six foot leader and a threaded night crawler. The action was hot the whole time with only a few lulls. Over the four hours I landed two Brown's (12-14"), two ,Brook (6-8") and nine CT's (13-15") for a total of 13 fish. Action seemed to be good around the lake although there were not many anglers there for a Saturday. It was cold at the lake, about 39 degrees but the scenery was great and is was enjoyable watching a bald eagle in action. This is a perfect location for a day trip and I will be back before the snow sets in.

Sounds like a great day! Would love to see some pics! Just beware, the regs read: "In lakes, ponds, and reservoirs: No min. size. Daily limit 5. When fishing with bait." I am sure somebody will correct me if I am wrong (and please do!), but I believe that means if you are using bait you can only catch 5 no matter if you keep em or not.

Yes, if using bait.......5 and done. I bet most don't realize that.

Been to this lake myself, and have seen more than one person doing the same thing..... next time try casting a fly out there with your bobber and just let it sit or twitch it once in a while, if you want to catch and release. don't forget to pinch the barb......
