there sure are some nice trout in goodwin. wish the perch were bigger but oh well. some people don't know you can chum in goodwin. a little corn really brings the trout around. we either use worms or yellow or orange power bait, cast a short distance and leave a slack line. this last Sunday the weather was horrible but we had a great time and limited out as we have almost all summer. we've taken several 2 to 5 pounders this year. i don't know why we bother with eastern wa except there's no walleye here. sometimes we are the only people on the lake (goodwin). the fish seem to gather in different spots at different times of the year. it took us an hour to find them Sunday. they were in 38 feet of water beyond the point of the state park and starving.
