Well, not real fast fishing, but the Brookies here will get you going if you hook one! We tried a number of things here, but the trusty 'ol Green Wooly Bugger took the big one this weekend. 18+" buck Brookie! This fish was beautiful, full of fight and FAAAATTT! I could not get my 2 hands around the biggest part of his body! I estimate it was 4-5lbs. Certainly it was at least 4lbs. A prince took a smaller 15" fish. These were the only 2 fish I brought to hand all day. My buddy took a few smaller ones on a Copper Killer and some other bugs. No real rises all day, at least not what you could call a "feed" on a hatch.
The water was still a bit warm, this lake should come on stronger as the weather cools.
