1/13/2008 10:41:00 PMI went out to Washington today and seen probably 6 other bass boats. Same story ...slow but very very nice winter day.
If you do catch a bass in deep water it will just lay on its side in the live well until you do something about it. Next time you are out and you see some other guys just ask them to show you because its easier than it looks. If you dont want to risk killing the bass you can try another way Ive seen on tv and that is putting a 1/2oz jig in its mouth and lowering it till it spits the jig and swim off.

1/13/2008 11:09:00 PMAtleat you got out to fish today. I woke up early and saw how great of a day it was, but i couldnt go and fish :( I have a view of samamish from where i live, and all day i looked out on the lake wishing i could fish .

1/14/2008 8:47:00 PMAnother trick is to weigh down a milk crate on a rope, put the fish in the water, immediately put the crate over the fish and lower it down in the water to the depth you caught the fish from. Give it a couple minutes for the fish to gather itself and pull the crate back up.

1/15/2008 12:31:00 AMThe cold weather shortly before the really nice weather shut them down. I know a couple of guys that got blanked Perch fiishing and if they aren't biting then you know something is up.
