I arrived at the lake about 0730 yesterday the 24th of Jan 08. I had read on the WDFW that they planted 50 or so 6.5 pounders in the lake on the 11th. It was bitter cold about 28* . T he lake was totally frozen over all except a 20 x 40 ft. section at the north end of the lake by the inflow pipe.. after a brisk walk around the lake . I drove to South County Park in Toledo. got there around 0900 fished from one of the docks . It was only half frozen over . stayed until 1400 C&R 2 small bow's. All & all not a bad day
