Just my luck, drive from Olympia to Kress lake to target some Steelhead that the WDFW stocked last week. Over half the lake was FROZEN over. walked to the far side of the lake. Tossed homemade spinners for 3 1/2 hours and not one bite . saw a few old beat up ones near the shoreline. I think I'll try it in a few weeks after the next few rains.
