While a bit cold, the weather got better and better, yes, sun!!. Fishing? not so good, my fishing buddy and I got no strikes for 5 hours of fishing 11-5. 3 others on the lake got 1 fish while fishing the morning (said this was the slowest day they'd had all winter), tried the whole fly box, nymphs, buggers, chronomids, trolled, casted, and used strike indicators.... nada, but, as with this lake a better day will come... water temp on surface was 42 degrees... a few tiny midges on the water... saw 4 rises on the surface....
