I just don't get it. i have talked to so many people that say the CT at samm are great. my buddy and i have been a few times and TRIED everything possible and have not gotten a bite.
anyone have any hints as to why.
we are heading there tomorrow to try again and go deeper.
any help would be awesome.

Don't fish down by the creek/state park. Try fishing out by the bright green dock canopy on the east side of the lake. About 3/4 mile north of the creek. Try fishing in no deeper than 50-60 feet of water, troll slow as the water is cold and stay no deeper than 15 feet down with your terminal gear. Troll in S patterns. Wash your hands before putting your gear in the water. If sunny, troll towards the sun. Good luck.

yeah we tried some of that but i guess we need to be a little more stealth. they seem to be pretty crafty those little cuts....thanks for the heads up. i heard that its supposed to get better at the end of march and first weeks of april.

that was last year in westport around september.
yeah it was a biggen....
