A busy beautiful Saturday at Rock. Lots of boats, looked like some newbies as well based on the craziness at the launch. Thankfully this is a big lake with lots of big fish. Spent more of the day playing with the new electronics than actually fishing. (SideImaging baby, thanks Santa!) Regardless we still managed to boat some lovely German Browns on the troll and on the cast. No rainbows today, or largies for that matter. All released to catch another day but we were hungry this evening, bummer.
All in all, good fishing. Water coming in from Rock creek was chocolate milk, won't be long till the entire north end goes off color at this rate. Surface temp varied from 36 to 38 degrees, lots of fish holding at 30 feet. Water level is high and should be climbing for the next month or so, big boaters rejoice.
