Fished Fragrance from the main shore. Arrived at around 3:30pm. Used a gold 1/4oz Thomas Lure. Caught three fish from shore. Was most successful with a slow retrieve and upward twitches of the rod then let the spoon sink about 2 feet, then reeled in a few times and repeated. Had two other strikes that I missed.

Fish were about ten inches and healthy, cutthroats. Very Pretty fish but skinny. The biggest and last fish was 16 inches but still skinny, gave a good fight. I think I must have hit him on the head cause the strike happened immediately after hitting the water. I didn't even know I had him on until after a few seconds. This one was a cutthroat as well.

No body else fished the lake. There were several hikers that passed by. Only stayed till about 6pm. Wish I would have had more time. Next time I will bring a Rooster Tail and I think it will be much better.

I do not know the temperature or depth, but will be back with my float tube soon and will have my depth finder ready. At around 5 pm the fish started rising and feeding off small gnats. Black in color with green eyes about a size 18 hook I believe.

Had a very good time and the hike wasn't to bad. Will bring camera with batteries that are charged next time. Sorry about the no pictures thing.
