me and my girl went about 2 miles past the boat launch on the north side and it was a real nice spot for bass a few fallen trees which makes for good bass fishin we sat there for 4 hrs and caught 2 small bass and then hooked onto a 7 pound large mouth which put up a rather good fight......we were using left over steel head bait we have live shrimp herring and salmon eggs and we caught our three fish on the shrimp....this time of the year there getting ready to spawn and there very aggressive when you get close to there nest so i casted right next to a nest and that big female felt threatened and so took the bait...............but next time i go back i will be dragging a plastic on the bottom wear some polarized glass so i can see these nest's ..........till next time.
