Headed out to Beaver to see if the recently stocked trout were biting, they weren't. Got to the lake around 11:30 and left around 2:30. Fished the boat launch. Had no bites and only two guys get any fish. One was fly fishing in a float tube and the other was trolling. I used wedding ring, power bait and power eggs off the bottom, fake maggot, fake worm and fake egg with a bobber. The kid next to me used a couple lures, worm and bobber and power bait off the bottom. He also got skunked. I think the fish are still getting used to their new environment and the water and air temp is probably still a little cool. Might be more action tomorrow with warmer temps but definitely in a week or so.

I think there needs to be another lake rating. Something between a 2 and a 3. Like, it was an ok day on the water and I'll probably be back.
