Hit up Lake Washington from 10am to 3pm fishing with Quadradomous. We had a blast fishing, and fished a new spot near the Sammamish River. Water temp was 46F and air temp was a balmy 58F. I think Quad measured them out, but we caught a total of 9 cutthroats, 2 that shook the hook, and the other 7 went as follows; 19,” 18,” 17,” 16,” 16,” 15,” and 14.” Had one really large hit that just smacked it hard (the lure) and took off...just peeling out tons of line and that was that…that fish shook the hook…we didn’t even get a good look. Overall, great day fishing with Quadradomous; really great guy. He brought along a digital scale and we measured the weight of the fish; something I have always overlooked. They went roughly as follows; 3.0 pounds (even), 2.6 pounds, 1.9 pounds, 1.5 pounds, 1.4 pounds, 1.2 pounds, and .9 pounds. Many of the fish we filleted were female and two fish were sea-run cutts. Quadradomous got a nice bag full of quality fillets; but I cut my fingers in the process. By the way, a really nice gentleman offered two band-aids for my cut fingers that wouldn’t stop bleeding – if you read this – “Thank you sir.” It was one of those “days to remember.” Just one of many…(the pics are of our 7 fish we retained and quad’s two beauties.)
