Tried Little Spokane today. Hit the water at about 7:00am not a bite so we decided to go down further until we hit willow bay we found a turnout fished there 30 mins w/o a bite we soaked nightcrawlers and nothing so i decide to put a crappie jig on black w/ purple flake last cast before we go back down whack 3lb smallie weighed on dig. scale i was shocked she was that shallow must have been 6 1/2 ft. deep..{released}
now its about 8:00 and we go back to nine mile and put the boat in picked up two squallys drifting a spider grub for bass..
then the snow decides to roll in.got cold quick next thing you know the battery dies for the trolling motor so me and my step dad walked 2 miles to the truck but other than that it was an ok day got a good sm. fight i was glad.

tight lines!!

That's a good day of fishing if you can suffer snow, a dead battery and a 2-mile walk and still call it "OK". Great report, good laugh. Thanks & good luck out there!

im not familiar with the "highs & lows" of that lake but it was glass out there.
it was shallow heading from the river to the campground but other than that it was slow current and fishable

The lake is down about 6'2" right now.

Glad it was a good trip.
