Hit the lake around 930 am and it was already hot. we trolled at the far end of the lake working our way back and forth across the lake back towards the launch site with no success not even a nibble. we (my grandfather, my wife and myself) were getting pretty restless after about an hour an a half of this so my grandfather suggested we anchor the boat in about 25-30 feet of water just off the shore near a mess of reeds and still fish for awhile. we all three dropped different colored power bait balls too start and found that the pink ones were working best. we caught 10 nice size rainbows within an hour and it was a blast. everything went great aside from the severe eastern Washington heat that I have lost my immunities to after not living over there for nearly 10 years.
