Hit the lake at about 9am by float tube. Fished from the "launch here" on the above picture and then fished north to the back bay and ledge pictured above on the way back in. It was windy the night before and the wind started to pickup again by noon. Fishing was very slow with only a few bumps. I talked with several other fly fishers and only one guy had landed a fish. I tried an olive bunny leach fished on a full sink line; and chrinomid, scud, and Nyerges nymph on a floating line. The scenery alone and float on the lake is worth the drive. I heard from another fisherman that the eve and morning is better (imagine that!).
