Very poor fishing. Caught one 6 inch perch in about 3 hrs of fishing. Hot day in the 90's with little wind, so I gave up about noon. I trolled a spinner, worm and still fished with marshmallow and worm with nothing. Too bad this lake used to be such a excellent trout lake I'm sure the garbage fish haven't helped it any. It was killed off 5 years ago, so I doubt it will be done again for quite awhile. I spoke to several that were fishing Canal Lake next to Heart and the same story. Little perch and very few trout.
