Fished LW from 11am to 2pm with Uncle Jimbo. Jimbo did well, catching and landing 3 pretty nice fish. I fared well, too, managing 4 cutts all around 17." I let all my fish go; my freezer is jammed pack with these beauts already. Jimbo had a blast, loved every minute of it, and took his 6 fillets home for dinner to feed the fam. I can't complain one bit - I might be out there tomorrow, not sure yet. The bite came on at 1:15pm. Other than that is was pretty cold (fishing wise). Water temp was an encouraging 51F so I think the bass might be moving up a bit...I did mark some on the finder along with pretty good schools of long-fin smelt. Great day for fishing, that's for sure.
