Water temps were 49.5 to 52.5 degrees! I missed three solid fish, one on a crawdad colored crankbait, hooked him just long enough to wish I caught him.....BIG!!
Had one dart up under my jig right by the boat, but he saw me to and 180'd back where he came from!!
Number three hit my jig as I was reeling in and tore the trailer off......
I won't even begin to list all the lures and techniques I tried.......grrrr!!
I'll be back!!
On my way back to the launch I saw a toad of a trout jump....had to be 5lbs!! Right out in front of the swimming area at the State Park.
