Launched from the county park about noon and by 12:45 had the first of 4 muskie in the boat. He was also the biggest of the year. 53" long. I did not get the girth on him but know that his weight was a little over 30#. Took him over by Allen York park off the point by Church lake DR. The second one was 42" and I think he was on both crack and steroids. Fought him for about 20 min before I could get him scooped in the boat. The third was 47" on my second cast after # 2. Both were caught on the north end of Inlet Island. At the end of the day after talking to someone from Muskies Inc. About being followed by a couple, I went to were they were and after being followed myself a few times, finally found a spinner he would eat. # 4 was 41" and got him right under the boat jigging my vibrax in front of him. Overall it was a good day on the water and can't wait til next Saturday to get a few more. All fish were successfully released.

I am buyin a camera tomorrow. Last year, I caught 53 muskies on Tapps and 19 on Mayfield and only got pics of two. I never have a camera handy when I need it but, if anyone wants to go with me, I will take whoever out and show you where and how I get em. Starting next weekend, I will have a camera and will be able to post some pics. Last year I caught 7 over 50" and two I know were state records and I heard of 6 others that would have been records, but to our understanding, the fish has to be kept to get the record. I only keep one or two a year for eatin and those are in the 42-45 " range but this year I may not keep any with the size requirement goin up.

Hey Capt'n,
You told me and kevin you caught 4 when you and your buddy cruised over to talk to us...Then the one you got over by Dike 2b would've been the 5th. Which was the fish we located for you..your welcome by the way. Musta been the Bud lights...oh yeah what was it about you bein a guide or something like that?

The Fish that we told you about were tatalled my 3 to his one at that point. At his request, I have not yet and will not post any of his activity on the web site since he is against it. And he is my brother by the way who was kind enough to let you launch without kicking your arrogant ass first. I was a full time guide beginning in the early 90's and started that on Tapps and gave it up to work law enforcement. Hope that answers your questions.

Maybe this is just a misunderstanding. With all do respect, from one civil service employee to another. I would NOT threaten violence of ANY kind.
I'm here to fish muskies.

No, Kev, I wasn't threatening anyone. I don't like to mix fishin and violence. My brother was though and that is why I rarely take him fishin or anywhere else for that matter. Gotta keep a shock collar on him. lol However, the good news is that I purchased a digital camera today and now I can start postin pics and try to help others be more successfull on the water and quiet the critics. With the cold front movin in Sat. I won't fish Tapps but I will be salmon fishin down south and will try out my camera there.
