Hit the lake in the early PM. 3-4 boats out dunking bait, but didn't seem to be having much action. I was in my float tube, and tried a number of areas past the swimming beach @ the county part. Not a single hit, although I did see a couple of fish rising. Went back into the cove just North of the Park, and managed to land 4 and lose a number of others within an hour. Fun, but the fish they've planted are certainly on the small size (9"-10"). All were released to fight another day, I never saw the bait guys catch a single fish in the 2-hrs. I was there. My guess is that the action would be much better early or late, but without much time on Saturday, a mid-afternoon trip was all I could fit in. My first trip to this lake, might try to hit it again at a better hour.
